Bill Maher may be a Democrat, but at least he's a sane Democrat. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for famed film director Quentin Tarantino, who went on an insane rant on a recent episode of “Club Random with Bill Maher.”

During a conversation about the election cycle, Maher criticized Kamala Harris' tactics, particularly her “not talking to the press” and alienating moderate voters like himself and the types of people who watch his show.
“[Harris] “He'll never get close to me,” he told Tarantino, adding that the decision was a mistake because he “speaks to exactly the voters she needs: people in the middle, people who aren't ideologically tied to either side.”
But Tarantino disagreed with the premise, saying this isn't a normal election cycle in that Kamala Harris “doesn't have a year to make a decision.” [her] I feel like “this incident is the worst thing that could ever happen to me,” and so I have no choice but to focus on “winning.”
“I think they're just interested in winning the election… We are the president, Trump is not the president,” he ranted.
He went on to argue that Democrats don't get enough credit for their fierce spirit when it comes to winning: “Sometimes it just matters to win, and it doesn't matter what it looks like in the moment. It just matters to win.”
“No matter what she says in that stupid interview I'm gonna vote for her anyway,” he raged.
Dave Rubin points out that Tarantino's conversation with Maher revealed something few would admit out loud: Democrats and their supporters believe that “principles don't matter, just winning.”
He called it “the ideology of Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and others. [admitted] They acted to get rid of Biden, they didn't have a primary, and they don't care about the voters.”
As for the voters themselves, Tarantino captures their mindset perfectly: “I don’t care that there was a coup, I don’t care that they installed a president. [Harris]”As long as Democrats win, it doesn't matter,” Dave says.
