“Hey, we're all done with rehearsals,” Brady joked, “thank goodness. We've been spending a lot of time in dark closets in studios in LA. It's so nice to be in Cleveland. It's 65 degrees. It's sunny.”
“I want to take it easy, play the game and do the commentary. I'm really looking forward to today. You have a great team. I'm really happy to be part of your team. It's an honor for me. It's an honor to commentate this game in front of millions of fans. The game can't start earlier than 4:30.”
“We're ready. LFG, let's go!”
In 2022, FOX Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch announced during the company's earnings conference call that seven-time Super Bowl champion Brady, who was then a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, would one day join the sports network's top announcing team after his illustrious football career ends.

A look back at Tom Brady's journey in the broadcast booth ahead of his highly anticipated debut
Brady decided to postpone his foray into the broadcast booth for a year, but ultimately committed to starting the second act of his career in 2024. Since then, he's been practicing as much as he can to perfect his new skills.
The New England Patriots legend spoke to FOX Sports during halftime of the Texas-Michigan game.
“Obviously, I'm super excited. I'm not nervous at all,” Brady said when asked how he felt ahead of his debut. “A lot of people have been working on this and it's been a couple of years, but for me, the most exciting thing is just getting back to NFL football and being in the booth.”
