Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon were photographed holding hands during an intimate conversation at the Toronto International Film Festival amid the actress' ongoing divorce from best friend Ben Affleck.
The pair shared a sentimental moment during a private chat at an afterparty celebrating the release of their new film “Unstoppable,” which was released on Friday.
Lopez will star in the project, which is produced by Damon and Affleck's company, Artists Equity.
An eyewitness previously told People magazine that Lopez, 55, and Damon, 53, were chatting for more than 20 minutes at a party at the Ritz-Carlton's Epoch Bar & Kitchen Terrace.
According to the source, they “started talking and had a long, deep conversation.”
The discussion reportedly began after J.Lo sat down at an outdoor table with the Jason Bourne star and his wife, Luciana Damon.
Affleck, 52, did not attend the TIFF premiere.
The event marked Lopez's first red carpet appearance since filing for divorce from Affleck on Aug. 20, the two-year anniversary of their wedding in Georgia.
The “Let's Get Loud” songstress made a statement in an iridescent Tamara Ralph gown that was open at the side and tied with a black velvet bow.
