Bryson DeChambeau to have former NFL QB, current CBS announcer Tony Romo in latest YouTube episode

Bryson DeChambeau's YouTube The ratings continue to climb, and just a few weeks ago his channel surpassed one million subscribers, proving he is one of the most popular players in the game.

His recent U.S. Open victory has helped him achieve that goal, as have his recent collaborations with former U.S. President Donald Trump and two-time major champion John Daly. As of this writing, DeChambeau's videos featuring Trump and Daly have been viewed a combined total of more than 17 million times, an astounding number that has drawn attention from a range of demographics.

But his next video is sure to garner a lot of attention, too.

DeChambeau announced Monday, the former Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo will appear on an upcoming episode of “Breaking 50.”

In the series, DeChambeau invites guests to challenge each other to break 50 strokes from the red tees, an absurdly low score even from the frontmost tees. In addition to Trump and Daly, guests in the series have included Paige Spiranac, 2017 Masters champion Sergio Garcia and long-drive champion Martin Borgmeier. DeChambeau has nine “Breaking 50” episodes in his YouTube repertoire and 100 other videos on his channel.

But as this teaser with Romo makes clear, DeChambeau has yet to break 50 with any other player. Perhaps the current NFL on CBS broadcaster can help him get there, as Romo suggests in this video.

At the end of the day, Romo is a great player. He's won the American Century Championship three times, most recently in 2022. But he finished tied for 38th at Lake Tahoe this July, a disappointing showing given his skill level. But Romo will be back. PGA Tour Qualifying School to be held again According to Golf Channel's Brentley Romine, Romo may give it a try. Romo's qualifying rounds begin next week at Sand Creek Station Golf Club in Newton, Kansas.

Perhaps DeChambeau has given him a tip or two before heading off to Q School again.
