Radio Host Mark Levin Announces Major Injury Will Take Him Off the Airwaves

Conservative radio host Mark Levin will be stepping away from the microphone for the next few days, not by choice but by circumstance.

Levin said Monday that he had a “nasty” fall over the weekend, tearing his quadriceps (a group of muscles in the front of the thigh) and his right knee.

Levin will need surgery before he can return to the air. He broke the news on social media, saying:

Unfortunately, I had a bad fall this weekend and tore my quad muscle between my right knee and thigh. I will probably have surgery in the next day or two. I will be back on the air as soon as I can. God bless you.

Levin, 66, hosts “Life, Liberty & Levin” on Fox News every Saturday and Sunday and also presents his own radio show, “The Mark Levin Show,” on stations nationwide during the week.

No one has been named as a potential replacement until Levin undergoes surgery and begins his post-operative recovery.
