James O'Keefe claims that Google growth strategist Dakota Reaser told an undercover reporter from O'Keefe Media Group that there is a “concerted effort by big tech companies and big corporations” to help Vice President Kamala Harris win the 2024 election and become the “next CEO,” adding that Google is “most in our interest” when Americans are in a “crisis” and “fearful” of “some sense of impending doom” or “the end of democracy.”
“Google is a very liberal, progressive company,” Rieser said in a recently released video. “If they believe one side will let them make more money, I don't think it's political, I think it's economic. I think it's all about stock and share price.”

Rieser went on to suggest that political headlines “born out of hate” are generating advertising revenue for Google, adding that the tech giant is promoting ads with “very pro-Kamala rhetoric” that “appear to link to legitimate news sites.”
“All these political headlines that drive clicks and generate advertising revenue are born out of hate,” he said.
“Google was basically promoting pro-Kamala rhetoric through their ads and linking to legitimate news publications,” Reaser added. “They were making it look like PBS ads, but they were actually Kamala campaign ads or whatever.”
The Google executive added that this was “a coordinated effort by big tech companies and big corporations to help her win. It's absolutely coordinated.”
“When you look at the big picture and who is really pulling the strings in this country, it's a handful of billionaires, many of whom are in the tech industry, and tech essentially controls the media,” Reaser said.
“Not completely, but if you go to Google, they're kind of tilting the search engine in Kamala's favor,” he added.
“It feels like Facebook is promoting content that is favorable to her,” Reaser continued. “A lot of the AI stuff that's now being liberating in some ways is generally doing so in her favor.”
Rieser later reiterated his belief that a handful of billionaires are trying to control the outcome of the 2024 presidential election.
“This feels like a coordinated effort by top billionaires who want to make Kamala the next CEO,” he said, “but I don't think there's a chance she'll win.”
Asked if he felt “bad” that Google was actively “deceiving” voters, Rieser replied “no”, adding: “If it's not Google, I think someone else is going to do it. So this is all kind of a psy-op.” [psychological operation].”
The Google executive also suggested that fear sells, noting that it is highly “profitable” at a time when Americans fear “some sense of impending doom” and are experiencing “an existential crisis in America that our democracy is going to end.”
“I think the demographic that's most scared is going to benefit the most,” Rieser said, “and I think at this point the left is more scared than the right.”
O'Keefe also pointed out that CNN's technical director, Charlie Chester, had previously admitted to one of his undercover journalists that “fear sells”.
Reeser has since deleted the X account and the TikTok videos, “including his bio and contact information,” O'Keefe said.
“This comes after hidden camera footage revealed that Google worked with the Harris campaign to manipulate ads on its search engine to favor the Harris campaign in the 2024 election,” O'Keefe added.
