‘I Think It Was Our Best Debate Ever’

After Tuesday's debate, former President Donald Trump appeared on FNC's “Hannity” and declared himself the winner.

But the Republican presidential candidate challenged the hosts, ABC News' David Muir and Lindsey Davis.

A partial transcript follows:

HANNITY: Well, he joins us now. He's on the set of the Spin Room himself. Did you enjoy that?

TRUMP: It was fun. I think it was the best debate we've ever had. I thought it was really good. It was 3 to 1, but I expected it.

HANNITY: Let's talk about that. Three to one, all of her extreme positions are ignored.

TRUMP: Yes. No. We got a lot, a lot of negative coverage. I watched your show last night, and on ABC it was 100 percent positive coverage, whereas my coverage was 94 percent negative.

HANNITY: 93, 93% negative.

TRUMP: You're exaggerating.

HANNITY: We're up 1 percent on the non-negative numbers. And as we discussed with her tonight, we come out of this debate with no answer for the Green New Deal that she co-sponsored, the $93 trillion, which is the end of capitalism. We come out of this debate with no answer for, you know, government-run health care, and no answer for abolishing private health insurance. And the fact is…

TRUMP: But we went through all of that. We went through all of the things that you pointed out. And then at the end we asked, why didn't she do it before? Why didn't she fix it? She's complaining, so why didn't she fix all of this?
