Travis Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift couldn't help but laugh when Jason Kelce had a wardrobe malfunction ahead of his Monday Night Countdown debut this week.
Jason, who joined ESPN as a commentator after retiring from the NFL in March, said on Monday's broadcast that his “boobs” were suffering underneath his white button-up shirt.
“Me and Taylor were watching it and we were literally laughing our heads off. It was the perfect preview of what we're going to experience over the next 18 weeks,” Travis said on Wednesday's latest episode with Jason. “New Heights” Podcast.
The 36-year-old left his luggage “in my truck” and had to buy a shirt at the mall, host Scott Van Pelt said on “MNF” at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, before the 49ers' 32-19 win over the Jets.
“It fits my stomach now. I've lost a little weight, but my chest is still tight,” Jason said, drawing laughter from ESPN commentators Ryan Clark and Marcus Spears.

Jason, who played 13 seasons as a center for the Eagles before retiring, previously said he would focus on losing weight after his retirement.
“It's a big deal and a big accomplishment for the Hall of Fame Center to be able to shop at Lululemon,” Clark said.
Travis called it a “great comment” from his brother and asked if this was the first time the word “tits” had been used on ESPN.
“I don't know,” Jason said on the “New Heights” podcast. “Someone asked me on Twitter. And boobs was a weird word when I said it, because I think it's an acceptable word.”
“It's not against the rules to say it on air, but it's certainly not something you would normally say on air. It's one of those words that is not appropriate for airing.”
Travis, 34, continued to make fun of Jason's shirt.
“The button was holding it on by a thread,” Travis said, adding that he was surprised Jason didn't go shirtless on air.
“It was a stretch. The problem was my belly was floating,” Jason replied. “I think Pat McAfee has done this a few times shirtless.
“In broadcasting, it feels like anything goes now. If the sun is out, so are the boobs.”
Jason then explained that he was nervous about his “Monday Night Countdown” debut.
“I wasn't prepared,” he said, “I didn't know what to expect and I was really nervous. But then I realized I was prepared. ESPN set everything up really well and thankfully I was on set with three other guys who'd been there many times before.”
“… I was nervous. That's normal. I think the first time you do something, it's natural not to know what to expect. It was a lot of fun. I think you feel more comfortable when you're with people who've been there before and are really good at it.”
Jason's second broadcast will take place in familiar territory next Monday when the Eagles host the Atlanta Falcons at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
