Tuesday's presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump featured some tense moments between the two candidates.
The debate, held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, marked the first, and likely only, time for Harris and Trump to debate. Harris' campaign was quick to say she was “ready for a second debate,” but Trump, in an interview on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday morning, said he was “not keen” to debate Harris again because he “won the debate.”
Here are some of the matchups to watch tonight.
A majority of debate viewers say Harris won, according to a CNN poll

The fight against abortion
One of their early clashes was over abortion, with Harris accusing Trump of opening the door to a “Trump abortion ban” by nominating the justices who ultimately overturned Roe v. Wade.
“If Donald Trump is re-elected, he will sign a nationwide abortion ban,” she said.
Trump called it a “lie.” The two eventually countered on the issue, with Trump asking Harris if she supported late-term abortion and Harris asking Trump if he would veto a federal abortion ban.
“Would she allow an abortion in the eighth month? The ninth month? The seventh month?” Trump asked.
“Come on,” Harris said.
“Okay, could you do that?” he replied.
“Why don't you ask her that question?” Trump asked the moderator.
“Why don't you answer the question of whether you will veto it?” Harris asked Trump.

Are Trump rallies boring?
Ms Harris angered former President Trump by accusing him of holding boring rallies and saying things like “windmills cause cancer”.
“You'll also notice that people start leaving his meetings earlier out of fatigue and boredom. And the one thing you won't hear him talk about is you.”
Trump quickly fired back.: “People don't come to her meetings. There's no reason for them to go. And the ones that do go, she busses them and pays for them, and shows them in a different light. So she can't talk about it. No one comes to my meetings. The greatest and most amazing gathering in political history will take place.”
“I'm talking now.”
Trump used a joke Tuesday night similar to one Harris made famous during the 2020 vice presidential debate, when she repeatedly told then-Vice President Mike Pence, “I'm talking.”
“Hold on a second, if you don't mind, I'm speaking now, please,” Trump said. “Does that sound familiar?”
Mr. Harris smiled, clearly understanding the reference.
“I'm not Joe Biden”
“Remember, she's Biden. She's trying to get away with Biden. 'I don't know that gentleman,' she says. She's Biden. The worst inflation in history. Inflation is hurting the economy and it's so bad she can't get away with it,” he said.
“Obviously I'm not Joe Biden, I'm not Donald Trump, and what I'm proposing is to bring a new generation of leadership to our country,” Harris countered.
The struggle over Russia
Harris and Trump have attacked each other over Russian President Putin.
“It's well known that he admires dictators and wants to be a dictator. He has said so himself. It's well known that he has said about Putin that he can do whatever he wants and that he can invade Ukraine. It's well known that he said it was great when Russia invaded Ukraine,” she said.
Trump fired back, accusing Harris of being “weak on national security” and saying she has the support of Putin.

“President Putin endorsed her last week and said, 'I hope she wins,' and I think he meant it because what he's done is absolutely incredible. It wouldn't have happened if it were me,” he said.
