Caitlin Clark makes recommendation to Americans after liking Taylor Swift’s Harris endorsement post

Caitlin Clark praised Taylor Swift for endorsing Vice President Harris for president after Tuesday's debate and made a recommendation to Americans on Wednesday.

The Indiana Fever rookie was asked about his social media activity ahead of their game against the Las Vegas Aces.

“I think I have this amazing platform for myself,” she said. USA Today“So I think the biggest thing is just encouraging people to register to vote. I think this is the second time I've been able to vote in an election. That's the biggest thing I can do with the platform that I have. The same thing that Taylor did.”

“And I think we should continue to educate ourselves on the candidates that we have on the ballot and the policies that they support. I think that's the biggest thing you can do. And that's what I would encourage anyone in our country who has the opportunity to do.”

Swift endorsed Harris after the debate between her and former President Trump.

WNBA players have supported Democratic candidates, with the Seattle Storm endorsing President Biden and then-VP candidate Harris in 2020.

Clark does not appear to openly endorse any political candidates.

Clark was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and played at the University of Iowa before turning professional and being drafted by the Fever. Trump won Iowa's six electoral votes, but most of the votes in Polk County, where Des Moines is located, went to Biden.
