BORDER TOWN, USA: Police in Aurora, Colorado, continue to release information about members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TdN) and their alleged activities in an apartment building in the city. Recently, police identified 10 TdN gang members and provided details of their alleged crimes.
in statement A report released Wednesday by the Aurora Police Department said authorities are continuing to investigate reports of TdN gang members “residing in Aurora and committing acts of violence against members of the immigrant community.”
The statement revealed the names and other details of 10 alleged members of the TdN gang and the crimes they allegedly committed.

- Larry Medina Larry Medina was arrested by Aurora Police on July 10 in connection with a felony intimidation incident that occurred at Whispering Pines Condominiums (1357 Helena St.) on July 2. The victim reported to police that Medina had pointed a gun at her and threatened to kill her. Medina is a bona fide member of the TdA.
- Jonardi Pacheco Chirinos Jonnadi Pacheco Chirinos was arrested by Aurora Police on March 28 on a first-degree assault warrant out of Adams District Court. The warrant stems from an assault that occurred in November 2023 at Fitzsimmons Place Apartments (1568 Nome St.). Jonnadi is also suspected of being involved in a non-fatal shooting that occurred on July 28 at Fitzsimmons Place Apartments and was arrested by Aurora Police in connection with that incident on July 29. His involvement in that shooting remains under investigation.
- Jhonardy Pacheco-Chirinos is a chartered member of TdA. Johnati DeJesus Pacheco-Chirinos Jonati DeJesus Pacheco Chirinos was arrested by Aurora Police on July 29 in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred the previous day at Fitzsimmons Place Apartments, 1568 Nome St. Jonati Pacheco Chirinos is a registered member of the TdA.
- Luis Miguel Calzadilla Rojas Luis Miguel Calzadilla Rojas was arrested by Aurora Police on the evening of January 3rd for his alleged involvement in a non-fatal shooting that occurred earlier that day in front of the Arapahoe County Probation Office, 15400 E. 14th Place. Calzadilla Rojas is a registered member of the TdA.
- Yeoman Camilo Sangronis Garcia Yeoman Camilo Sangronis Garcia had consensual contact with the Aurora Police Department regarding a report of a hit-and-run accident that occurred at Whispering Pines Condominiums, 15423 E. 13th Ave., on Feb. 4. Sangronis Garcia has had no other contact with the Aurora Police Department. Sangronis Garcia is a recognized member of the TdA.
- Yoendri Vilches Medina Jose Yoendry Vilchez Medina Jose was arrested Aug. 5 by the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office on a warrant out of Arapahoe District Court. The warrant stems from an assault that occurred at Whispering Pines Condominiums (1357 Helena Road) in Aurora in November 2023. Medina Jose is a bona fide member of TdA.
- Juan Carlos Mejia Espana Juan Carlos Mejia Espana was arrested by Aurora police on March 17 after a domestic dispute involving a weapon at Whispering Pines Condominiums, 15483 E. 13th Ave. Mejia Espana is a registered member of the TdA.
- Carlos Arangüren Mayora Carlos Arangülen Mayora has had multiple encounters with Aurora Police and Capital Region law enforcement. He faces a total of 38 charges in five pending cases in Adams, Arapahoe and Boulder District Courts for crimes that run until December 2023. Arangülen Mayora is a recognized member of the TdA.
- Daniel Mora Marquez Royvers Daniel Mora Marquez was arrested by Aurora police on April 17 for his involvement in an altercation and assault over unpaid rent that occurred in the 1600 block of Lima Street on April 4. Mora Marquez is also a suspect in a non-fatal shooting that occurred in the 400 block of Nile Street on June 28. Mora Marquez is a registered member of the TdA.
- Jose Miguel Reyes Perez Jose Miguel Reyes-Perez was arrested by Aurora Police on May 22 on an outstanding warrant issued by Jefferson District Court for aggravated assault, criminal intimidation and motor vehicle theft. Reyes-Perez is a registered member of the TdA.
The announcement comes one week after the arrests of four other individuals who are documented or suspected members of the TdN gang were announced.

On July 29, the Aurora Police Department arrested 24-year-old Jonati DeJesus Pacheco Chirinos on attempted murder and other charges in connection to an attempted murder that occurred on Nome Street on July 28. It has now been confirmed that he is a registered member of Tren de Aragua (TdA). He is the brother of Jonati Jose Pacheco Chirinos, also known as “Cookie” or “Galetta.” As a result of working with local, state and federal partners, we are now able to share gang-related ties. Both Jonati and Jonati are in ICE custody.
Additionally, two other suspected gang members were arrested the same day: Dixon Azuaje Perez, 20, and Nixon Azuaje Perez, 19. Both were arrested on suspicion of evidence tampering in a shooting on Nome Street on July 28. Both men have gang ties and are suspected members of the TdA.
“This isn't just a Denver metropolitan issue… [it] “This is a failure on the southern border,” Aurora City Councilman Daniel Jurinski told Breitbart News exclusively in August.
Colorado's Democratic governor, Jared Polis, has denied stories of Venezuelan gang activity in the Aurora area, adding that the stories are a figment of city council members' imaginations.
Breitbart Texas reported Wednesday that a Texas district court judge ordered the closure of an El Paso hotel where alleged TdN gang members have been involved in similar violent acts.
Police suspected the Tren de Aragua gang was involved after they found several Venezuelan migrants with gang tattoos, KVIA ABC7 reported. Reported“We are concerned by the establishment and rise of a Venezuelan criminal organization, 'Tren de Aragua', at the Gateway Hotel. Several Venezuelans have been found to have Tren de Aragua identifying tattoos,” an El Paso Police Department officer wrote in an affidavit in a lawsuit filed by El Paso County against the Hotel Owens.
