The Kansas City Chiefs' ambitions to make NFL history and win a third straight Super Bowl hit a new obstacle on Sunday after they improved to 2-0 with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Chiefs running back Isaiah Pacheco is likely on injured reserve after suffering a lower leg injury in the final minutes of the 26-25 win. NFL Network It was reported that Pacheco suffered a fractured fibula.

Pacheco will be out, but the question is how long. He will be out for at least four weeks on the disabled list, but a broken foot will take longer to heal. He is reportedly scheduled to undergo further evaluation on Monday.
The former Rutgers University star is one of the products of Kansas City's 2022 rookie draft class that had a breakout year en route to back-to-back Super Bowl wins, rushing for 830 yards and five touchdowns in his rookie season and then rushing for 935 yards and seven touchdowns last year.

Pacheco scored in Week 1's game against the Baltimore Ravens, leading the team to a 27-20 victory.
Kansas City has been plagued by a rash of injuries, with wide receiver Marquise Brown missing the entire regular season and running back Clyde Edwards-Haley struggling with PTSD.
