“Leader Perry Farrell's continuing pattern of behavior and mental health issues have left us with no choice but to cancel our current U.S. tour,” he wrote.

During the tense confrontation, Pharrell yelled at Navarro and appeared to punch the guitarist.
Security officers quickly broke up the fight, telling Farrell to stop and subduing him to prevent further attacks on the guitarist. Navarro grabbed Farrell's arm, causing Farrell to become enraged and attempt to attack the guitarist again.
While the incident was occurring, the venue went dark and the show came to an abrupt end.
In a statement to Fox News Digital, Pharrell said, “This has been an incredibly difficult weekend. After allowing myself time and space to reflect, it is natural that I would like to apologize to my bandmates, especially Dave Navarro, as well as our fans, family and friends, for my behavior during Friday's show. Unfortunately, my limitations led to unacceptable behavior, and I take full responsibility for how I chose to handle this situation.”

“There was clearly tension and animosity between band members… that was the magic of the band dynamic. So dynamite was lit. Perry stood in front of Dave's face and body-checked him,” she explained on Instagram.
Lau added that the fight began when Perry's patience ran out: Perry wasn't in the best of health heading into the band's performance, “having ringing ears and a sore throat every night.” But a fan in the front row started yelling at Perry, and the band was forced to leave. [playing] Perry was furious because the voices were too loud for him to hear.”
She also wrote that Jane's Addiction founding member, bass guitarist and co-lyricist Eric Avery “headlocked” Pharrell and punched him three times, “winning the fight.”
“Perry was like a crazy beast for the next 30 minutes. He never calmed down and had a mental breakdown and cried.”
