The widow of Hamptons real estate mogul Brandon Miller was sued last week by her Upper East Side landlord for unpaid rent from April to July for her luxury $49,000-a-month apartment on Park Avenue.
According to court documents, Mack Acquisitions filed a lawsuit against influencer Candice Miller on Sept. 12 to collect approximately $195,000 in rent the socialite allegedly owes.
Brandon Miller was heavily in debt when he committed suicide this summer. The 43-year-old real estate developer was found unconscious in his car in the garage of his sprawling Hamptons mansion and was pronounced dead at a hospital a few days later on July 3rd.
The lawsuit against Candace Miller, 42, claims she is behind on rent payments from April through July.
The lawsuit, filed in state court, says her rent was $47,000 for the first two months she didn't pay it, but then increased to $49,000.
According to the lawsuit, Miller agreed to vacate her five-bedroom apartment at 737 Park Ave. in late August, but was only able to make that month's payment of $2,000 because Mack Acquisitions withheld her security deposit.
In total, she is owed $194,881, according to the lawsuit.
Candace moved into a Miami condominium with her two daughters in August. Page Six reported at the time.

Candace and her late husband appeared to be living the dream life, but it was mostly an illusion, and Brandon Miller was secretly in debt.
Brandon Miller, president of Real Estate Equity Corporation, was in the red for nearly $34 million and had just $8,000 in his bank account. TheRealDeal reported this earlier.
Candice is the founder of lifestyle and mommy blog Mama & Tata and a familiar face in Hamptons social circles. She has been known to run her debt-ridden mansion. Long Island will be listed for sale in August.
Attorneys for Candace Miller and Mack Acquisitions did not immediately respond to requests for comment late Monday night.
