NPR Runs False Accusation Rich Lowry Used ‘N-word’ on Air

National Public Radio (NPR), a taxpayer-supported, nonpartisan news network, National Review The editor-in-chief used the “n-word” during a podcast interview with Megyn Kelly this week.

Under the headline “Conservative editor appears to have used racist language about Haitian immigrants,” NPR made claims that Rowley said things he did not say, and there is no evidence he meant to say them, as if they were true.

Rowley was discussing allegations made by former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), that Haitian immigrants were eating pets and geese in Springfield, Ohio. Rowley mispronounced the short “i” at the beginning of the word “immigrant,” then corrected himself.

Random critics on social media began claiming that Laurie had used racist language, which the show's host quickly denied.

Rowley, a mainstream Republican, has no history of making racist or inflammatory statements.

NPR threatened to ban live interviews with conservatives after I appeared on their show in late 2016. Morning Edition He also criticized the network for the show “Code Switch,” which he said perpetuates racial divisions in America.

Outraged, liberal listeners, upset that the author had dominated the debate, complained to the station.
