A campaign has been launched to educate Americans about Nationwide's conscious business policies.
Nationwide Insurance is Pressed Awakened policies such as:
- She supports the Ohio Fairness Act, which would require businesses to allow men into women's restrooms and other private spaces.
- Promote the Human Rights Campaign's Corporate Equality Index, which calls on companies to promote mindfulness policies for their employees.
- Donate tens of thousands of dollars to Stonewall Columbus, the organization that reportedly sponsors the Drag Queen Story Hour.
- Supporting environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies that promote green energy could have a negative impact on the Buckeye State's agriculture and energy industries.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies.
“We are deeply grateful to the Center for Christian Virtue for their continued support,” Aaron Baer, president of the Center for Christian Virtue, said in a statement Tuesday.
Nationwide has supported some of the most extreme bills in the Ohio Legislature and financially supported organizations that host drag queen story hours and other ridiculous events that harm children, all while positioning itself as a family-friendly business to its rural and agricultural customers.

Nationwide is reportedly backing the Corporate Equality Index. base They advocate for LGBTQ+ policies. They have lobbied companies to support left-leaning policies, such as health insurance for transgender workers, and have encouraged companies to work with minority-owned businesses. Currently, the group encourages employers to create gender transition guidelines.
“We don't believe we should single out people as a group, and we don't believe we should right the wrongs of the past by favoring one group and disadvantaging another,” said Dan Lennington, associate counsel for the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty's Equality Under Law Project.
“We have no problem with non-discrimination, but we are concerned that these policies could go too far and harm innocent third parties who object for religious reasons or are excluded because they are not LGBTQ or a particular race,” he added.
Many companies are off the left-leaning index, including Ford, Harley Davidson, Lowe's and Jack Daniel's.
Now the Human Rights Campaign is punishing people who no longer want to be included in its left-wing index.
“The Human Rights Campaign said it would remove 25 points from the scores of companies that publicly withdraw and would continue to rank Fortune 500 companies regardless of their participation,” the AP explained.
In a recent opinion poll Found Americans are increasingly shunning companies with political leanings.
A July Rasmussen poll found that 48 percent of Americans believe DEI programs discriminate against white men, and an August Gallup survey found that Americans are increasingly tired of companies meddling in current political events.
