Johnny Gaudreau’s daughter practices hockey skills

In an adorable video posted to social media by the sister of the late hockey player Johnny Gaudreau, Gaudreau's daughter can be seen practicing some hockey moves.

Katie Gaudreau posted a video Monday of her and Johnny Gaudreau's daughter, Noah, who turns 2 in October, playing floor hockey.

Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew Gaudreau were killed on August 29 when they were struck by a car while riding their bicycles in their hometown of New Jersey.

The tragedy occurred the day before Katie Gaudreau was scheduled to get married.

The heartwarming video saw Noah join Katie in shooting a puck of tennis balls into a mini goal, with the girls cheering after he scored. According to Peoplee.

The video was originally shared by a friend of Katie Gaudreau's, who wrote the words, “Noah loves Auntie Katie” above the video along with a heart emoji.

Johnny Gaudreau left behind two children, Noah and Johnny, who was 7 months old at the time of his murder.

His wife told mourners at the memorial service that she was nine weeks pregnant.

“John and I have had the best six months as a family of four,” Meredith told mourners gathered at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Media, Pennsylvania, reflecting on life since the birth of their second child, a son named Johnny, in February.

“These will forever be the best six months of my life,” the widow said at the casket of her husband, 31, and his brother, 29, a former Columbus Blue Jackets star.

“There's one week in particular that I'll cherish forever. It's my favorite week of my life in the last six months. We're a family of five. I'm nine weeks pregnant with our third baby,” Meredith said.

Shawn Higgins, 43, the man accused of killing the Gaudreau brothers, was ordered by a judge last week to remain in custody.

Higgins faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted of the two charges he is charged with.

He is due to appear again in court for a pre-charge conference on October 15.
