Macomb County, Michigan, sheriff's deputies recently performed an incredible rescue when a 63-year-old man was in danger.

Macomb County Sheriff's Deputy Nicole Miron and a fellow deputy spotted a man driving erratically on Gratiot Street in Mount Clemens and attempted to pull him over, but he continued traveling at speeds of up to five miles per hour, ABC7 reported. Reported Thursday.

When officers pulled up next to the man's truck in their vehicle, the man “appeared dazed” and was unable to comply with officers' requests to stop his vehicle.

Sheriff's Office video footage show A silver truck was traveling down the road when it struck a curb.

Milon knew he had to stop the car and do something to rescue the man. Climbed According to ABC 6, an officer was in the passenger seat of a moving patrol vehicle driven by another officer when he jumped into the truck's window.

“Are you OK? Are you OK? Is this a park?” she asked the man, who she later said had some sort of medical condition.

“Luckily, we had a vehicle following the vehicle and were able to see exactly where it was going,” she explained, adding that they made efforts to stop the truck before it approached the busy intersection.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham is justifiably proud of his men for thinking quickly and keeping a cool head under pressure when residents were in trouble.

“I commend Deputy Miron for putting herself at risk to help a citizen in need and protect other drivers on the roadway. Her quick thinking and selfless actions allowed for a safe end to a situation that could have become tragic,” he said.

Milon later Praised Her partner, Deputy Sheriff Anthony Gross, parked his car near the moving truck and made sure she was safe. What's even more interesting is that Deputy Gross hasn't been on the job very long.

“That was probably around day 15. I'm in training right now, so she's my training officer. Our trust is new, but I feel it's pretty strong. We've had some great days,” Gross said.
