Sean “Diddy” Combs is reportedly frustrated that he can't speak to his seven children while serving time in prison on sex trafficking charges.
The disgraced music mogul is currently under suicide watch in a Brooklyn jail, but sources close to the family say he is desperate to get in contact with his children, Quincy, Justin, Christian “King” Chance, twins Delilah and Jesse, and 2-year-old Love. He told TMZ.
The outlet reports that Combs' family, heartbroken by the disturbing allegations against the rapper, has been supporting each other and turning to God for guidance since his arrest in New York City on Monday.
Those closest to the family are trying all they can to keep it together for the sake of Combs' children, sources said.
Combs, 54, was taken into custody by Homeland Security agents at the Park Hyatt in New York and charged with three counts each of organized criminal conspiracy, sex trafficking by coercion, fraud or extortion and transportation for the purposes of prostitution.
He was denied bail at his arraignment on Tuesday and sent to Brooklyn's notorious Metropolitan Detention Center ahead of his trial.
The indictment alleges that over the course of decades, the fallen rap mogul “abuses, threatens and coerces women and others to gratify his own sexual desires, protect his reputation and cover up his conduct,” and “creates a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”
The documents allege that Combs regularly forced the women into deviant “freak-off” sex sessions with male prostitutes, which were often recorded while the music producer masturbated.
His employees allegedly helped organize the “Freak Offs” by arranging travel, booking hotel rooms for the events, and stocking supplies such as medication, baby oil, lubricant, and extra sheets.
So far, no one else has been charged in connection with the incident.
Combs' son Quincy was adopted during his relationship with the late Kim Porter. Justin, Christian and Chance are all adults, while 17-year-old twins Delilah and Jesse, and Love are still children.
According to TMZ, the rapper has maintained a close relationship with his mother throughout his life.
It's not clear whether he's had a chance to call them since his arrest.
