Breitbart reported:

Fox News' “Gutfeld!” set a new record on Wednesday, drawing about 5 million viewers for its interview with former President Donald Trump.

The network said in a press release Thursday that the show averaged 4.9 million viewers, making it “the highest-rated show in the show's history.”

In a press release, Fox also revealed that the show was watched by 744,000 viewers “between the ages of 25 and 54,” and Nielsen MRI Fusion reported that the show was attracting “more independents and Democrats” than competing shows.

“The show marked former President Donald Trump's first late-night appearance since appearing on NBC's 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon' in 2016,” the outlet explained in a press release. “'Gutfeld!' was the most-watched program in primetime across cable and terrestrial, beating out the debuts of CBS' 'Survivor' (4.7 million P2+ viewers) and ABC's 'The Golden Bachelorette' (2.8 million P2+ viewers).”
