It's a bullfight in your backyard!
The East Coast briefly took on a Wild West look when eight bulls escaped from a rodeo ring in a Massachusetts shopping mall parking lot on Sunday afternoon. Miraculously, no one was injured, but one bull remains at large.
Shocking video shows the moment a herd of bulls charges over a fence from a rodeo at Emerald Square Mall.
The animals ran through a crowded parking lot, crashed into a tent and then wandered toward U.S. Highway 1. The wild animals then turned toward the woods, where the first of eight escapees was quickly captured.
“Area residents should use extreme caution and avoid approaching the bull,” the North Attleboro Fire Department warned area residents Sunday.
North Attleboro Fire and Police, working with the Massachusetts Environmental Police, searched for the rest of the herd with help from members of the New England Rodeo in Norton and the Mall Rodeo.
The herd made its way through the woods and into residential areas of Attleboro, making for an unexpected and unwelcome visit for some local residents.
Six more bulls were trapped in a pen at a home in Attleboro around 4:30 p.m. All were loaded onto a trailer without incident, but one remained at large.
“As soon as I got outside and looked, I was like, oh my God, that's not a horse, that's literally a bull,” Attleboro resident Chris Mooney said. NBC Connecticut.
“Two were just lying there and one was shaking the fence trying to get out, but the other two were just sitting there.”

Some people sympathized with the cows' plight but were grateful that they were removed from the neighborhood unharmed.
“At first I just felt sorry for the bulls and thought they had run away for a reason,” Gee Saunsonevat, a neighbor whose home accidentally trapped six bulls, told NBC Connecticut.
Rescuers are still searching for one missing bull. The one-day Festival Rodeo where the eight escaped has been canceled and the cause of the escape remains under investigation.
