The man suspected of trying to assassinate Donald Trump on a Florida golf course wrote a chilling note several months ago in which he declared his intention to kill 45 people.Number The Justice Department briefed the president on the matter on Monday.

Ryan Wesley Routh allegedly left a note addressed to “To the World” at the unnamed person's home months before the Sept. 15 assassination attempt at a West Palm Beach golf course.Number.
“This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump and I have let you down. I did my best and mustered all the courage I had. It is up to you to complete this mission. I am offering $150,000 to anyone who can complete the mission,” the letter reads.
The letter, addressed to “the world,” said Trump had “ended our relationship with Iran like a child and now the Middle East is a mess.”
“I did my best and put all the grit I had into it. Now it's up to you to finish the job. I'll offer $150,000 to whoever gets the job done.”
Routh also had a list of Trump's upcoming public appearances and Googled routes from Palm Beach, Florida, to Mexico.
He is scheduled to appear in federal court on Monday for a detention hearing following the Sept. 15 assassination attempt.Number at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.
Meanwhile, the Department of Justice argued that the defendants should remain in custody while the case progresses.
