Instead, each presidential administration provides an online application that candidates can complete via the White House website.
This is a general application, not an application for a specific position, so there are many opportunities throughout the application for potential candidates to specify the position they are interested in.

There will also be space to select the desired division you would like to participate in.

The White House Fellows is a nonpartisan program. To apply, applicants must have “significant professional achievements early in their careers,” as well as “evidence of leadership ability and potential for further growth” and a “demonstrated commitment to public service,” according to the White House website.
Candidates must also have the skills necessary to “succeed at the highest levels of the federal government.”
