US Conference of Catholic Bishops tells the faithful to defend the unborn and vote for pro-life candidates

United States Conference of Catholic Bishops
Called American Catholics on Thursday renewed their commitment to the legal protection of human life.

With just over 40 days until the November election, Bishop Michael F. Burbidge of Arlington, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' Committee on Pro-Life Activities, made it clear that this means voting for candidates who protect the unborn and voting against “egregious ballot propositions that would enshrine abortion in our state constitution.”

“We live in a society that rejects the weak, the fragile and the vulnerable, yet they are the ones most in need of our care and protection.”
Written Bishop Burbidge: “Pope Francis reminds us that 'every child who is unjustly condemned to abortion rather than born bears the face of Jesus Christ, the face of Him who experienced world rejection before and immediately after birth.'”

The bishops said fighting abortion is a priority for the Catholic Church, with October currently designated anti-abortion month in the United States.
Respect for Life Month“Abortion has become a top priority for others as well.”

“We see many politicians blessing the killing of the unborn and protecting access to abortion up until the moment of birth,” the bishops wrote.

“Let's change our hearts to protect and care for all those who are most vulnerable.”

Abortion
Satanic Temple Ritual But for many Democrats, it is a well-known practice, and Philadelphia Archbishop Charles J. Chaput It is called “An evil kind of 'Most Holy Sacrament'”

During the Democratic National Convention,
Planned Parenthood A mobile clinic was parked outside. Offering Offering free chemical abortions to mothers in the crowd.

Live Action President Lila Rose
attention “The Democratic National Committee, backed by the abortion industry, has chosen a different path, glorifying the murder of innocent children as a twisted form of empowerment,” the editorial said.

Rose added: “Twenty-five helpless lives were sacrificed on the altar of so-called 'choice', all under the grotesque guise of festival fun.”

In the USCCB's call to action, Bishop Burbidge cited a warning from another pope, this time St. John Paul II.
said The Pope's encyclical, “The Gospel of Life,” states: “We are faced with an immense and dramatic clash between good and evil, death and life, between the 'culture of death' and the 'culture of life'… We are all involved in this and we share an inescapable responsibility to unconditionally support life.”

In addition to imploring Catholics to vote for pro-life candidates and pray fervently for life, the USCCB also advocates for policies to help women and children in need, as well as for “pregnancy support centers and [the church’s] “Walking with Moms in Need,” a nationwide parish-based initiative

The bishop concluded with a prayer.

Jesus, you came so that we might have life, and have it abundantly. With the Father and the Holy Spirit, you formed us in our mother's womb and called us to love you forever. Now, at a time when your most precious gift, human life, is under attack, bring us ever closer to your true presence in the Eucharist. Dispel the darkness of the culture of death, for you are the light that shines in the darkness and the darkness cannot overcome it. Help us, by the power of your presence in the Eucharist, to defend every human life at every stage. Transform our hearts and protect and cherish every person with the most vulnerable life, for you are God forever. Amen.

Kamala Harris has received significant funding from Planned Parenthood for various campaigns.
said She told Wisconsin Public Radio on Monday that she supports abolishing the filibuster to legalize abortion nationwide.

Harris not only supports abortion, but also vigorously fights against those who criticize it.

David Daleiden, pro-life citizen journalist and founder of the Center for Medical Progress

Harris
Authorized the attack This began a years-long effort to punish pro-life activists and hide evidence of Daleiden's guilt from the American public.

“Since the first century, the Church has recognized that all abortions are morally evil.”

Planned Parenthood Action Fund has endorsed Harris for president.
Many other Democrats Among those who have made clear their determination to legally exterminate innocent life are:

Harris wants to make abortion a state right, while Donald Trump

The left has made it clear it is not pleased with the diversity among states on the issue, and Democrats have been pushing extreme efforts in Republican-leaning states to block lawmakers from passing pro-life bills in the future.

The Blaze News previously reported that in November, voters in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska and Nevada will decide whether to amend their state constitutions to guarantee residents the legal right to kill unborn babies at various stages of development.

The Democratic Party has fielded a number of Catholic candidates, who could face de facto excommunication because of their support for abortion.

“Since the first century, the Church has affirmed that all abortion is morally evil. This teaching has not changed and will not change.”
say Catechism. “Formal cooperation in abortion is a grave crime. The Church imposes the penalty of canonical excommunication on this crime against human life.”

The USCCB's Pro-Life Activities Committee was similarly unequivocal, stating:

Given the scientific fact that human life begins at conception, the only moral principle necessary to understand the Church's opposition to abortion is the principle that every human life has inherent dignity and must be treated with the respect due to it as a human being. This is the basis of the Church's social doctrine, including teachings on war, the use of the death penalty, euthanasia, health care, poverty, and immigration. Conversely, some living human beings
