As the November election approaches, the House Oversight Committee has opened an investigation into Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's recent visit to Pennsylvania.
The committee is asking about the Biden-Harris administration's alleged use of taxpayer funds to fly Zelensky to the state, Fox News reported. Reported on wednesday.
In a press release, the committee said: said “We are seeking documents from the White House, Department of Defense and Department of Justice regarding the Biden-Harris Administration's misuse of government resources that enabled Zelensky to interfere in the 2024 presidential election,” said Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.).

The press release continues:
“In 2019, the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives impeached President Donald J. Trump for abuse of power based on the theory that he attempted to leverage a foreign leader, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to influence the 2020 presidential election, despite no evidence of President Trump's wrongdoing. The Biden-Harris Administration recently flew that same foreign leader, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on an American taxpayer-funded plane to Pennsylvania, a battleground state in the 2024 presidential election. Pennsylvania has been described as the 'toughest battleground for Vice President Kamala Harris to win.' The Committee is seeking to determine whether the Biden-Harris Administration attempted to leverage a foreign leader to influence VP Harris' presidential election, and if so, whether it necessarily committed an abuse of power.” Chairman Comer wrote:
The Biden-Harris administration recently flew President Zelenskyy to Pennsylvania on an Air Force Department aircraft to introduce administration officials to President Zelenskyy about the Russia-Ukraine war. President Zelenskyy's itinerary included a stop in Pennsylvania to meet with Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro on September 22, 2024. New Yorker It published an interview with President Zelensky, in which the president made a number of critical comments about Trump Vance.
As Breitbart News noted, Trump has said that as the next president, he would end the war between Russia and Ukraine.
I want Russia to make amends with Ukraine and stop this. Millions of people are being killed. Far more than you're reporting. But I want to get it done before I take office. I want to get it done as the next President, because this has to be done. We see it now with so many people dead, so many cities in ruins, so many cultures destroyed.
Vice President Kamala Harris, a Democrat campaigning against Trump in the 2024 presidential election, pledged an additional $1.5 billion in direct US aid to Ukraine, Breitbart News reported in June.
The article noted that “since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, the White House announced that the United States has sent more than $3.2 billion in humanitarian aid and nearly $1.5 billion to support Ukraine's energy sector.”
According to Breitbart News, recent polls show Trump and Harris tied in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, while Trump has a lead in Georgia.
