‘Rings of Power’ Will Remain Family-Friendly, Showrunners Say

One of Prime Video's showrunners Lord of the Rings: Ring of Power The series' themes are “deeply faith-based” and honor the fantastical world created by J.R.R. Tolkien, a devout Catholic who wrote the novels that inspired the series. He says: Currently in its second season, ring of power This is the first part of the original lord of the rings Stories taken from Tolkien's books and their appendices. It is planned for 5 seasons.

“There’s a great quote we found where Tolkien spoke. [how] He is always interested in writing something universal and timeless. He didn't want it to be a one-on-one fable,” showrunner and creator Patrick McKay told Crosswalk Headlines. Your own beliefs–but then you consciously revise them. ”

“And I think the way we understand that in the book, and hopefully translated into the series, is that the themes are deeply faith-based,” McKay added.

The series tells the story of Galadriel, a female elf who attempts to rid Middle-earth of the villainous Sauron. McKay and fellow showrunner JD Payne will serve as executive producers.
