“Four out of 10 Americans believe we are living in the end times.” glenn beckadding that he is “one of those four.”
Given the growing agenda of globalism, endless wars, attention to Israel, and the fact that debauchery of all kinds has become the norm, so many people believe that our end is near. No wonder there are.
Glenn invited best-selling author and pastor Max Lucado to the “Glenn Beck Podcast” to discuss how Christians can prepare for what Lucado calls “the fourth quarter.”
Lucado says he has “never tackled this topic before,” but he just published a book in August called . “What Happens Next: A Traveler’s Guide to the End of an Era”
He cites “two major reasons” for venturing into a topic he has avoided up until now.
“First of all, I'm older. … And secondly, I'm not only interested in the future, but I'm also very concerned about the present. These are really tough times,” he said. I'll tell Glenn. “It's going to be crazy before the end, but we're getting close to the end.”
“What are the signs you say we should look for?” Glenn asks.
According to Lucado, the most important sign, or “supersign” as he calls it, is “the regathering of the Children of Israel to the Land of Israel,” which already occurred in May 1948. Ta.
The second sign that the end times are near is that Israel will be “surrounded and surrounded by enemies.”
“It's part of the daily news,” Lucado says.
Another sign is “war and rumors of war,” Glenn said, adding:[America is] There are rumors of war now. ”
According to Lucado, according to Jesus' teachings, signs of the end times include “economic turmoil,” “seismic activity,” “persecution of Christians,” “political conflict,” “famine, epidemics, pandemics, ethnic conflicts,” This includes “false prophets.” and “terrible signs.”
“When you put all these signs together, it sounds like daily news,” Lucado said.
“Except for Supersign.” [the restoration of Israel’s homeland]haven't there been similar signs before? Glenn asks.
That's certainly true. Glenn uses Nazi Germany as an example.
But, according to Lucado, the fact that the supersign is already a reality gives high implications to the other signs we are currently deploying.
“I don't know the time, but I think all of these signs are increasing in intensity and frequency,” he says, pointing to a scripture that refers to these signs as “labor pains” warning of what's to come. I did.
“We have never seen Israel so besieged and threatened,” Lucado said.
“We have never seen this kind of evil,” Glenn added, citing the return of “really old pagan rituals” and “child sacrifices” as examples of depravity.
Lucado also points out the gender confusion that has become a defining issue of our time.
“22% of teens in 2021 were literally considering plotting their own departure, or suicide,” he says. “We're living in tragic times right now, and I can't help but think that a big reason for that is that people don't know what's going to happen.”
