Meehan says Trump will ‘absolutely not’ win popular vote

Squared Communications CEO Michael Meehan said Sunday that he believes former President Trump “will never win” the popular vote.

Meehan, a Democrat, heard from host Chris Stilwald how Trump ranks in the polls, which are close but bode well for Vice President Harris, and how Trump might surprise pollsters in the election. The question was asked whether there was.

“But do you really think it's likely that Donald Trump will win a majority of the national popular vote?” Stirewalt asked.

“Absolutely not,” Meehan replied. “He's absolutely at his limit, and he's right at it.”

With less than 40 days left until the election, Harris maintains a 7-point lead over Trump nationally and narrowly trails Trump in six key battleground states, according to recent polls. Exceeds.

Although pollsters still warn that the race is close, Meehan insisted the former president is “better at the polls than running.”

According to The Hill/Decision Desk headquarters, Ms. Harris holds a 4.2 percentage point lead over Mr. Trump, based on polling tallies.
