Chiefs wide receiver Lachie Rice had to be dragged off the field after being hit badly by a teammate.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes made a first-quarter interception against Charters on Sunday afternoon, hitting Rice directly in the knee while attempting to tackle Los Angeles cornerback Christian Fulton, causing him to fall to the ground in pain.
Rice, who was helped back to the sideline and had to be carted off the field, appeared incredibly shaken with his hands over his face.
Rice had his best start of the season last week with 12 catches, 110 receiving yards and one touchdown in a road win against the Falcons.
Rice was not catchable on Sunday before the injury.
