Former Packers star Eddie Lacy was arrested in Arizona on Monday night and charged with driving while intoxicated.
The former NFL running back is facing four DUI charges, including “Extreme DUI – BAC 0.20 or higher.” According to TMZ Sports.
Lacey, 34, was reportedly pulled over by Scottsdale police at 10:40 p.m. after he was seen committing multiple suspected traffic violations.
He was also charged with “possessing alcoholic beverages, open containers in a vehicle,” the newspaper said.
Further details about the arrest were not immediately available.
Lacy was a three-time national champion at the University of Alabama and was selected in the second round by the Packers in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Initially, Lacy showed great promise as the team's lead running back.
In his first two NFL seasons, he started 31 of the team's 32 regular season games, rushing for more than 1,100 yards and 24 total touchdowns each year.
He was AP Rookie of the Year in 2013 and earned Pro Bowl honors.
However, in 2015 he had 758 rushing yards in 15 games (12 starts), but in 2016 he had just 360 rushing yards with no touchdowns.
He appeared in nine games for the Seahawks in 2017, carrying the ball 69 times for 179 yards and no touchdowns.
In 2016, Lacey opened up about losing weight after quitting drinking.
“Some things were harder than others, but at the end of the day, it's all about results,” Lacey said at the time. “I think I handled it well and held out to my end of the bargain. … I've got to keep moving forward and just keep hoping for the best.”
