Several questions about Walz’s record not asked about during vice presidential debate

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz wasn't asked about some highly talked about news, including his military service, during Tuesday's first and only vice presidential debate, but Walz also didn't strongly mention it.

At another point in the debate, Walz called himself a “good soldier.”

Walz was also not asked during the debate how many times he had visited China.

“The rules were you don't fact check,” Vance reminded them. “And since you're fact-checking me, I think it's important to say what's actually going on.”

Explaining the relationship between the process of obtaining legal status and the immigration policies supported by Harris, the hosts again thanked Vance for “explaining the legal process” on her behalf, and then Mr. Walz tried to make a rebuttal, so the microphone was cut off.
