“Does that mean you're doing something secretly?” one X user asked.

Adams' name has long been associated with the Jets, given the receiver's friendship with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, with whom he caught passes when they were together in Green Bay.

The 31-year-old receiver was traded to the Raiders after the 2021 season and signed a five-year contract worth $140 million. The move reunited Adams with former Fresno State quarterback Derek Carr.

The reunion was bittersweet, however, as the Raiders released Carr in February 2022 after nine seasons with the team.

Adams claimed he wanted to go to Las Vegas in April, but trade rumors and allegations of a bad relationship have continued in recent weeks.

Just a few days ago, Raiders coach Antonio Pierce was at the center of social media drama after seemingly liking an Instagram post about Adams' future with the team.

“I don't know exactly what it was. Obviously… social media is a beast, so there's a lot of people who see it and wonder what's going on and reach out. So, yeah, I haven't talked to him,'' Adams said on Tuesday's episode of Kay Adams' show “Up & Adams.''

Since informing the Raiders of his desire to move, the Jets and Saints (whose current quarterback is Carr) have become clear as Adams' top destinations.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on WednesdayThe Chiefs are unlikely to court Adams, even though they are without Laci Rice for the time being due to a knee injury suffered in Sunday's win over the Chargers.

The Raiders are looking for a second-round pick as part of Adams' services.

The Jets suffered a heartbreaking 10-9 loss to the Broncos, but Allen Lazard, Mike Williams and Garrett Wilson are among the top wideouts on the depth chart.
