Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani are MLB’s runaway MVPs

The MVP race that made headlines a few weeks ago was ultimately decided by two of the best players in the game. Aaron Judge won his second MVP award, and Shohei Ohtani won his third MVP award, this time without throwing a single pitch.

Here are all the awards I chose.

AL MVP

1. Aaron Judge, Yankees: The case was solved with a large lead in WAR (10.8), OPS (1.159), adjusted OPS plus (223), slugging percentage (.701), and on-base percentage (.458). 2. Bobby Witt Jr., Royals: Another year would definitely be worth it. 3. Juan Soto, Yankees: Everything I expected and more. 4. Gunnar Henderson, Orioles: Almost as good as Witt. 5. Jose Ramirez, Guardians: Always top 5.
