Social media users are praising Vice President Kamala Harris after the Democratic candidate pledged millions of dollars in aid to Lebanon as North Carolina residents struggle to recover from Hurricane Helen. He set his sights on the president.

“This has to be fake. Even Kamala Harris, the gold standard of idiots, isn't stupid enough to post this,” actor James Woods said on X Saturday. “Of course not while the people of North Carolina are pulling the bodies of our neighbors from the wreckage. It's completely unthinkable.”

The post came in response to Harris' promise on Saturday to send $157 million in “additional aid” to Lebanon, which is “facing an increasingly dire humanitarian situation.” she insisted.

“Mr. Kamala and Sleepy Joe have been given poor reviews across the board, especially for their response to the hurricane in North Carolina,” President Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

The White House and Harris campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's requests for comment.
