Khalen Saunders intercepts pass after ‘MNF’ mentions brother is Taylor Swift backup dancer

It's almost as if ESPN planned it that way.

The Saints defensive tackle threw his first career interception in the third quarter of Monday night's game against the Chiefs, shortly after the episode aired about Karen Sanders' brother Kameron serving as a backup dancer on Taylor Swift's Ellas tour. Recorded.

With Swift in the building and her “Guy on the Chiefs” on the field, ESPN found a way to incorporate the Swift connection into the broadcast by talking about Sanders' younger brother.

Like clockwork, Sanders picked up the ball in the end zone and successfully returned the interception to the Saints 35-yard line.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' pass missed JuJu Smith-Schuster and hit the waiting arm of Sanders, who zipped out of the end zone, breaking two tackles and eventually taking the ball. It was taken down.

According to next generation statisticsSanders reached a top speed of 15.79 mph while weighing 324 pounds, making him the third fastest ball carrier weighing over 320 pounds since 2016.

Kameron has been a choreographer and dancer on three Swift tours, including the current Elas tour. According to the Saints website.

Before Monday's game, Sanders assured that his brother would be cheering him on.

“Of course it's me.” Sanders told reporters.. “He doesn't care about the Chiefs. He cares about his brother. That's his boss, but I'm his brother. I was here first. Hopefully. [Taylor] You'll be there. If not, [Kam] I will support you by my side.

“He's not going to root for the Chiefs — he actually has keys to the cities in St. Louis and Kansas City, too, but it doesn't matter. I'm paying for his tickets, so he They will support me.”

The interception did lead to a touchdown for the Saints, temporarily pulling them within three of the Chiefs.
