As long as Taylor Swift is in the game, the Kansas City Chiefs may never lose a game.

The Chiefs defeated the New Orleans Saints 26-13 on Monday to open the season undefeated. Kansas City won five straight games despite not looking like the best team in the league.

Travis Kelce may not have scored a touchdown, but he had one of his best games of the 2024 season thus far. He had seven catches for 89 yards and nine catches for 70 yards in the game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium and all was well with the world. The Chiefs won, and she, Kelsey, and the Chiefs faithful went home happy.

Since the calendar has turned to 2024, Swift may have become a talisman.

She was in the frigid AFC Wild Card victory over the Miami Dolphins. Then she went to Buffalo and watched the Chiefs beat the Bills in the AFC Divisional Round, losing top spot Jason Kelce. Then she was in Baltimore to watch the Chiefs win the AFC Championship again.

Swift had to fly to Asia to continue her “Era Tour.” She returned home in time for kickoff of Super Bowl XV to watch the Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers to win their second straight Super Bowl.

Pop's superstar was back at Arrowhead Stadium when the Chiefs opened the season against the Ravens, and was there when they held off the Bengals.

Not all of her matches were won during her time there. The last time Kansas City lost a game with her in the suite was Christmas Day, the day the Las Vegas Raiders defeated the Chiefs. It was also the last time Kansas City lost an entire game.

Swift may not play in every home game going forward as the tour resumes. Fans can be confident that as long as she is in the suite, Kansas City will have a better chance of winning.
