New York Yankees pitcher Carlos Rodon had a tough time in Game 2 of the American League Division Series against the Kansas City Royals on Monday night.

Rodon pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowing four earned runs on seven hits. It started with Salvador Perez's game-tying home run and ended with three more Royals players crossing the plate in the inning. Kansas City won 4-2.

Rodon's wife Ashley showed off the vile messages she received from people upset with her husband.

“DM is no more. I love interacting with everyone, but there's no place for it —,” she wrote on X, along with a screenshot. some terrible messages.

Carlos Rodon signed with the Yankees before the start of the 2023 season. Despite having a bad first season, he bounced back in 2024, playing in 32 games and winning a career-high 16 games. He lowered his ERA from 6.85 to 3.96.

But when the Yankees needed him most, he came up short.

“Obviously I want to be better than that, especially how the first three innings went,” Rodon said. “I can't say I'm tired. I just have to get better at that pitch. Just throw it better and get to a better spot.”

Giancarlo Stanton homered Gleyber Torres and the Yankees took an early lead. New York tried to apply pressure late in the game when Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit a solo home run, but the Royals sealed the deal.
