Recent polls show former President Donald Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.
InsiderAdvantage poll carried out A survey of 800 likely voters conducted between October 7 and 8, 2024 found that Trump received 49% support, while Harris received 47% support.
The poll also showed that Trump's support among “independent, older, and African-American voters” in the state appears to be “increasing or stable.”
The poll results come as recent Pennsylvania voter registration data reveals that Republicans outnumbered Democrats in the number of people registered to vote in the state during September.
Data compiled by Michael Pruser, Decision Desk Headquarters Found In September, more than 25,854 people registered with the Democratic Party, compared to 60,710 Republicans in the state.
Breitbart News' Wendell Husebo previously reported that Pennsylvania's voter registration data shows that five Democratic-leaning counties have shifted to a Republican majority. Counties that have turned Republican include Beaver, Berks, Bucks, Luzerne, and Fayette counties.
Pennsylvania was important to President Joe Biden, but win If she were to run against Trump in the 2020 presidential election, several polls would show her with a slight advantage over or evenly matched with Harris.
According to a poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports and American Thinker from September 19 to 22, 2024, Trump and Harris are tied at 48% of likely voters in Pennsylvania. A separate Trafalgar Group poll conducted September 26-29, 2024 found Trump leading Harris 47.5% to 45.3%.
