Hugh Jackman Makes Big Career Announcement In Comedic Video

Hugh Jackman announced the 2025 Radio City Music Hall concert series in a comedic video he shared on Instagram Wednesday.

“This is my time,” Jackman said in the announcement video. He announced his official return to the stage with his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Ryan Reynolds. The famous actor told his fans that in 2025, he will show off his singing skills with a series of 12 concerts titled “From New York with Love” at New York City's Radio City Music Hall.

The 55-year-old star shared some casual banter with Reynolds as part of the big reveal.

“Hey Ryan, would you like to come to my live performance at Radio City Music Hall?” Jackman asked Reynolds.

He then agreed to let Reynolds join the show, shaking his head in front of the cameras to let fans know he wasn't really going to be there.

“Am I going to stay out of it?” Reynolds asked.

Jackman admitted. “Well, on stage, it's different. But in my heart, I am.”

of concert series It will begin on January 24, 2025 and continue on weekends from April to July. The final two shows are scheduled for August 15th and 16th.

Jackman is no stranger to the live stage. He won a Tony Award in 2004 for his performance in “The Boy from Oz,” and has appeared in various Broadway productions. He also hosted the 81st Academy Awards in 2009. (Related: Hugh Jackman says he worked as a clown before becoming famous)

Fans who want to purchase tickets now can take advantage of the artist's pre-sale starting October 15 at 10 a.m. ET. General ticket sales will begin on October 18th.
