The sky seems to continue to fall in Las Vegas, but the Raiders are making a move at quarterback.
Despite signing Gardner Minshew in the offseason, the Raiders plan to bench him and switch him back to Aidan O'Connell.
Antonio Pierce made the decision to bench Minshew after a rough few weeks. He's completing 70.7% of his passes in the early going, but hasn't thrown for more than 215 yards in his last three games.

Minshew has thrown just four touchdowns against five interceptions.
The quarterback's play appears to have been the reason star wide receiver Davante Adams requested a trade.
Adams has missed the last two games and is expected to miss the third. Ironically, the injury appeared at the exact moment rumors started swirling.
But Pierce told reporters Wednesday that Adams is a Raider and will be treated like one as long as he's in the building.

“He's still a Raider. He's never been a Raider. When he's healthy and able to play, we're going to play him. He's just not healthy right now,” Pierce said. Ta. “He's getting closer. He's working every day to get his hamstring right and mentally in the right headspace. We talked recently and had a good conversation and he's ready to play football.” ”
O'Connell appeared in two games this year, replacing Minshew late in the season. In his rookie season last year, he replaced Jimmy Garoppolo and went 5-5, completing 62.1 percent of his passes for 2,218 yards, 12 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
