Independent journalist Brianna Morello addresses this issue directly, saying FEMA is funding illegal immigrants, not hurricane victims.

And Morello shared more with Blaze News Tonight's Jill Savage and Matthew Peterson, telling them that nearly $1 billion was donated to illegal immigrants last year alone.
“They claim that this money was never money that was meant to be used for the disaster itself, but that's literally what FEMA is all about. So for them to support the invasion and continue the invasion. The fact that we are sending some of our funds to is alarming,” she continued.
Morello also contacted Open the Books, an auditing organization that fights to achieve full transparency of all disclosed spending at all levels of government: federal, state, and local.
“But they shared that FEMA actually has $8 billion in bank accounts right now. Now, according to Open the Books, that money is actually being paid for things like Hurricane Katrina. This is due to past disasters that did not occur,” Morello explains.
