Annie Charlotte has two vaginas, but it doesn't really affect her sex life because “99 per cent of men don't know about it”.
The 26-year-old discovered she had two vaginas when she was 16. She had a contraceptive device inserted into her body when doctors diagnosed her with a rare disease.
The doctor explained that she had uterine didelphi, meaning she had two uteruses, two cervixes, and two vaginas.
Since then, an uphill battle over the health care system has continued.
“It made me realize how bad our health system is, especially when it comes to women's health,” she told news.com.au.
She was a teenager when she was diagnosed. She wanted to be like everyone else and was worried that having two vaginas would make sexual relationships difficult. But while basic treatment was difficult to access, her sex life was never stable. It's a problem.
“I've slept with hundreds of men and 99.9 percent don't know I have two vaginas. None of them know,” she explained.
The 26-year-old said she sometimes tells them after sex, but they are always “shocked and confused” and are left with more questions than answers.
“I've had experiences where I've said to them, 'By the way, I have two vaginas, and they're like, 'What?'” she said.
Charlotte explained that her right vagina is large and “dominant” so men either don't notice her smaller vagina on the left or completely miss it.
The 26-year-old said she thinks the reason men don't realize they have two vaginas is because they aren't paying attention and definitely don't expect it.
“To be honest, I think men just don't think about it. It's not on their radar at all. Some of them don't know where the clitoris is, let alone where the second vagina is. I feel like some people don't even know what it is,” she said.
“That might be a bit mean, but it's true. And it feels more genuine because it's just as internal as when you can't see it.”
Charlotte said, to be fair, they probably don't even consider the possibility of a second vagina.
She said that when she explains to men that she has a second vagina, they are often in “complete disbelief” and very interested in learning more.
Generally speaking, if she's open with her new sexual partner and lets him know she has two vaginas before sex, it's not “weird” for men, but it can be a little intimidating in some cases. there is.
“I had a guy tell me he was nervous to have sex with me because I used to have two vaginas. He was like, 'What the hell?' What should we do with them? ” she said.
She said he kept asking her how she “feel” and seemed very “nervous” about what would happen during sex, but men generally are “okay” about it. He said he found out something.
