Officials confirmed at least 94 storm-related deaths in North Carolina from Hurricane Helen on Monday.
According to the latest information from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS): said Fox News noted that deaths were reported across 20 counties, with most of the tragic deaths occurring in Buncombe County.

NCDHSS told Fox News Digital that these deaths were confirmed by the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME).

Authorities are working to compile these numbers as the search continues.

Other funds will be used in part to pay salaries for public school nutrition workers in closed schools and to help administer elections in battleground states in the coming weeks.
