Trump takes swipe at 'weak and soft' Fox News over upcoming Harris interview

Former President Trump appeared to ridicule Fox News on Monday evening, calling it “weak and soft” after the network announced that Vice President Harris had agreed to sit in on the news conference.

“Liar Kamala Harris wisely chose Fox News' Bret Bayer for a much-needed interview because he is considered a 'fair and balanced person,' but… “The cocktail circuit is often very kind to people on the left,” he said. I wrote it on Monday In true social.

“I would have liked to have seen more hard-hitting journalists, but Fox has become so soft on Democrats and is constantly polluting the airwaves with Sen. Kamala, that it just doesn't matter anymore,” he added. “I hope people understand November 5th and early voting. Let's make America great again!”

The former president's swipe came after weeks of pressure on Harris for her absence from sit-down interviews with mainstream media.

Fox News announced Monday that the vice president will give his first sit-down interview with the network. Baier said in an online post Monday afternoon that Harris' first major interview as a Democratic candidate in August was edited, after Republicans claimed it was pre-recorded and denied by CNN. It said it would include “minimal” editing.

Harris has recently given interviews on ABC's “The View,” CBS' “60 Minutes” and CBS' “The Late Show,” targeting key voting districts with less than a month until the election. Has appeared in traditional and non-traditional media. Stephen Colbert and “The Howard Stern Show.''

Her campaign reversed President Trump's position and questioned why the former president has not appeared in mainstream media.

“Today marks one month since Donald Trump spoke with mainstream reporters,” Harris campaign spokesperson Ammar Moussa said in a statement Monday. “He withdrew from 60 minutes. He refuses to discuss. And he refuses to release his medical records. What is he hiding?”

Harris' interview with Fox News from Pennsylvania will be aired Wednesday at 6 p.m. EDT during the network's “Special Report” news program.
