(NEXSTAR) — Check your refrigerators and freezers: Major meat recall linked to possible Listeria contamination continues to reduce the number of items sold at major grocery store chains across the country, including Walmart, Trader Joe's and Target It affects hundreds of ready-to-eat foods.

On Friday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture released an updated list of affected products, including popular brand names such as Dole, Taylor Farms, Great Value and Michelina's.

The recall, initiated by Blue Pack, includes more than 9.9 million pounds of cooked meat and poultry products manufactured between June 19, 2024 and October 8, 2024.

USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service discovered the problem when Listeria monocytogenes was detected in poultry samples during routine inspections. Subsequent testing traced the source of the bacteria to BrucePac's cooked chicken.
