Florida Republican Rep. Greg Steube told Fox News Digital on Tuesday morning that fuel shortages are the biggest post-hurricane problem, adding that Florida's 17th Congressional District has been hit by “two hurricanes in two weeks.” The damage was catastrophic.”
“The biggest challenge right now is fuel,” Steube said, advising evacuees to wait a little longer before returning. “If you leave town, I'm going to wait a few more days until the gas stations are full and we get back to more normalcy.”
“I drove around yesterday and I really couldn't find a gas station that had fuel,” he said. “Things will get better as people take back power.”
The lawmaker said power has been restored to most of his constituency.
