Jets fans won't have to wait long to see Davante Adams debut in a green and white uniform.
The newly acquired wide receiver is scheduled to make his Jets debut on Sunday night when they travel to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
This comes after Adams had missed the past three games with the Raiders due to a hamstring injury, before news broke that the disgruntled receiver would be reunited with former teammate Aaron Rodgers in the Big Apple. I was disappointed.
In exchange for Adams, the Jets sent the Raiders a second-round pick and a third-round pick.
The new member of the organization also had his contract restructured to lower the salary cap to $3.21 million and add two voidable years to his contract. Mr. Schefter also reported.
News that Adams wanted out of Las Vegas became public earlier this month, and speculation immediately began that he wanted to go to New York.
Adams spoke glowingly about quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who previously played wideout in Green Bay.

Adams boarded a red-eye flight to New Jersey early Tuesday morning to head to the Jets' facility for a physical, as the terms of his contract appeared to have been finalized.
He also made a surprise appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” during Rodgers' weekly spot on ESPN's show.

“We're back, we're back,” Adams said, standing next to Rodgers.
Adams also noted that he feels “very good” regarding the injury and has been working with the Raiders' training staff.
“They put me back right so I’m fortunate to be able to roll,” he said.
The Jets are 2-4 this season after losing to the Bills on Monday Night Football.
