Guilherme Vasconcelos, a mixed martial artist who competed in the UFC and Bellator, has died, his family announced Wednesday. He was 38 years old.
Vasconcelos' cause of death was unknown. MMA Junkie On Tuesday, they reported that he had posted a photo outside the gym 24 hours before his death was announced.

In a Facebook post, Vasconcelos' uncle said: “We were looking forward to your visit at Christmas, but that won't be the case anymore. Life is fleeting and this shocking news woke us up. “What a time we live in.'' TMZ Sports.
The Brazilian native competed for several companies before making his debut at Bellator 157 in June 2016. He defeated Jordan Dowdy and John Mercurio in his first two Bellator matches, but suffered back-to-back losses.

He last fought in Bellator in October 2019.
Vasconcelos has appeared in one fight in the UFC, facing Luke Zachric on the UFC 175 card in July 2014. He lost by unanimous decision and never fought for the company again.

He was 10-6 as a professional in MMA.

Vasconcelos also had a brief stint in the celebrity world. He briefly dated pop star Demi Lovato in 2017, but they broke up a few months later.
