Harris Is ‘in a Very Difficult Position’ on What She Would Have Done Differently from Biden

On Tuesday's broadcast of FOX News Channel's “America's Newsroom,” Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-Mich.) asked what Vice President Kamala Harris, the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, would do differently than the president. When asked if he was in a position to do so, he said, “We are in a very difficult position.'' Joe Biden said, “Since she was vice president,” he also said, “I think loyalty is certainly important, but we have to deal with the economy. She has to take care of that. We have to talk about what we do.”

co-host Dana Perino asked. “So one of the questions that she apparently didn't have a good answer for was when she was asked several times last week what sets you apart, what makes you different from the way you do it. ” How would Biden define himself differently? And people want change, and she was kind of defending Biden, but maybe she didn't want to hurt his feelings or she didn't know how to respond to that. How would you answer? ”

Dingell replied: “I think she's in a very difficult position because she was his vice president. And I'm still old-fashioned and I think loyalty is important, but we have to deal with the economy. She's got to take it on. She's got to talk about what she's going to do. How she's going to save jobs and bring back manufacturing and food in the grocery store. I think she's going to have to talk about how she's going to bring the cost down and be very clear about what she's going to do. And hopefully she's going to do that in the next few days. is.”
