Please brace yourself. Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff has been honest with the American public, perhaps a little too honestly, about his marriage to Kamala Harris.
On Tuesday's Dan Le Batard Show, Emhoff recalled the day he learned President Joe Biden was withdrawing from the race. Of course, he was attending a SoulCycle class in Los Angeles. NEW: Doug Emhoff says that when Joe Biden dropped out of the race because he was in spin class, his wife Kamala berated him and told him to “work.”
Emhoff said his wife, who once forced a staff member to call him “General,” became furious when he didn't answer her phone calls.

Emhoff said his cell phone was in a Secret Service car outside, so he “ran” to the car, “and I literally could feel the steam and my phone was there. There was,” he said. He then called Kamara and “had a conversation that lasted less than a minute. The conversation started with, 'Where the hell have you been?'” …We need you now. And basically, “get to work.” And I did. ”
A tough scene. I'd like to think that if this had been a normal, healthy relationship, Harris would have called her husband and said something to the effect of: I'm so happy to be with you on this roller coaster ride. I think it will be a tough job, but let's do our best together. I love you. you are my rock How was your spin class? ”
But no, it actually looked like this: Get your gay ass out of spin class now before I come in there and beat your ass. Do you think this is a free ride? SoulCycle So you think you can just sit on the sidelines and be a bit of an asshole? No, you bastard. you there is nothing Without me. ”
I feel somehow sorry for that man. Just imagine. It may be one of the most exciting days in your relationship with your wife. The day your wife found out you were scheduled to be in the Oval Office, she was upset that you were MIA and berated you for it.
Again, I'm not. Emhoff brought this upon himself. He signed up to hide in the shadow of his power-hungry wife. Also, men who attend spin classes or other exercise classes should be shamed by civil society. People who call themselves guys don't go to SoulCycle.
